Syngonium podophyllum 'Mini Pixie'-Super Dwarf Butterfly Plant is a super dwarf variety of Syngonium with a white center on heart-shaped green leaves. A hybrid created for its bright foliage colors, Syngonium podophyllum 'Mini Pixie' is easy to grow, and super tiny. ‘Mini Pixie’ makes a great fairy garden or terrarium plant due to its small size.

Syngoniums are also known as butterfly plant, arrowhead plant, arrowhead vine, or arrowhead philodendron.

Container Gardens/Terrariums/Houseplant:

Syngonium podophyllum 'Mini Pixie' will grow to approximately 3" in height and makes a great fairy garden, container/terrarium garden plant. Syngonium podophyllum 'Mini Pixie' also does well as a houseplant in a pot with normal household temperatures and humidity levels.

Keep soil slightly moist but not wet. Indirect bright light is best however, Syngonium podophyllum 'Mini Pixie' will do well in moderate light also.

Vivariums/Animal Terrariums:

Syngonium podophyllum 'Mini Pixie' is a super dwarf variety of Syngonium and will do well in the smallest of vivariums. Because of its size, it is recommended as a foreground plant in larger vivs. It has moderate to high light needs and does not like soaking wet feet. Syngonium podophyllum 'Mini Pixie' has moderate light needs. Brighter light will result in a lower growing plant. Syngonium podophyllum 'Mini Pixie' will initially grow as a small clump, spreading out sideways. Air circulation is not needed to successfully grow Syngonium podophyllum 'Mini Pixie' in a naturalistic vivarium. Syngonium podophyllum 'Mini Pixie provides cover, egg laying sites, and great calling perches for poison dart frogs in a naturalistic vivarium.
